The Admit Card for GATE 2019 releases on the 4th of January 2019. The Admit Card will be published online on the official website by IIT Madras which is the exam conducting authority. Highlights on Admit Card
- The registration begins on 1st of September 2018. The candidates have to follow the GATE Eligibility Criteria to apply for the examination. Enter all the information on the Application Form carefully because this data will be further used in the Admit Card. The last date to register for the examination is 21st September 2018. If you miss the last date then you are required to pay an extra fee as fine for the Application form.
- The Admit Card is supposed to release on 4th January 2019 online on the official website. The process to obtain the Admit Card is given as follows:
- Open the official website of the examination.
- Enter your respective Enrollment Number, Registration ID, Date of Birth, and Email address.
- Press on Submit and you will see the Admit Card on the screen.
- Download the Admit Card and keep it safely.
- The information that will appear on the Admit Card is given as follows:
- Candidate’s Name, Photograph, and Signature
- Registration Number
- Date, time, and centre for the exam
- Signature of the exam organizing Chairman
- Instructions for the Examination
- If you identify any mistake on the Admit Card then immediately inform the exam authority to mend the issues. Also, check that the Photograph and Signature on the Admit Card are clear. An incorrect Admit Card will be rejected on the day of the examination.
- The print out of the Admit Card should be coloured
. And the print out is to be taken on an A4 size sheet. - Read the instructions which are given at the bottom of the Admit Card before you come for the examination. You must have the knowledge about these instructions along with the GATE Exam Pattern 2019 before you give the exam.
- It is compulsory to carry the correct Admit Card on the day of the examination. Candidates would be marked present on the basis of the Admit Card. Anyone found without the Admit Card in the exam centre then his/her name would be marked absent.
- Also, you are supposed to carry an extra ID proof along with the Admit Card on the day of the examination. Without these necessities, you are not allowed to give the examination.
- It is important that you keep the Admit Card safely even after the examination for any future purpose.
